Title RegistryOrder a title

Refunds

Last updated 23 October 2026

The short version: if we can't deliver your title, you don't pay. Your card is held when you order and only charged once the registry has supplied the title.

If the registry can't supply the title

We release the hold on your card straight away, so nothing is charged and there's nothing to refund. Some banks take a few days to remove a released hold from your statement.

If you ordered the wrong property

Before you pay, we show you the lot, plan and title reference from the registry's index so you can check it. If you still order the wrong one by mistake, email us within 7 days and we'll refund everything except the registry's own fee, which we have already paid.

If something we wrote is wrong

Our summaries quote the title and explain each entry from reviewed wording, but the official title is the document to rely on. If our summary or Full Report misstates what the title says, tell us and we'll correct it and refund the summary or report part of your order.

Title Watch

Title Watch is paid once for 12 months and doesn't renew automatically. If you cancel within 14 days of ordering, we refund it in full.

How to ask

Email help@titleregistry.com.au with your order number. A person reads every email. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 business days. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
